PS3 Laser point detection unit for use with the CL mini laser

The laser point detector unit is used to accurately gauge acupuncture points.
Simply hold the device tip to the skin, when the acupuncture point is found the device
will emit a continuous sound and a green light.

Signature verifier for user authentication

This system is designed to authenticate a user based on the dynamics of his or her signature. The system is able to verify the movement of the hand of the person while they are signing their names. It maintains a database of the authentic signatures and compares the actions made by the unknown person.

The system works on a hand held device such as smart phone which can be used for many security applications. Although the screen shows the actual signature of a user, it is never stored as a static picture as it is only providing the user with visual feedback.

Extensive research has demonstrated that this technique is very reliable. The system is able to identify the forgers, even if they have trained to copy the signature. Results also reveal that style of handwritings not only can be used to authenticate the individual, but can also be used to identify substance abuse.
