As mentioned in the November Newsletter; the higher power lasers, particularly the CL plus 100, batteries tend to have short lives.

The Energiser series AA lithium battery, with 10 year or similar guarantees and high energy density, has tested well so far. It is important to note that these are not rechargeable batteries, so please do not try to charge them.

Led Lights on the unit may not be so accurate but a good rule is to throw out the batteries after 2 months.
