As previous, the Energizer_® Ultimate Lithium™ AA battery is a good choice for the CL plus 100 laser. 

I propose that the batteries are disposed of after 2 months.

An alternative, though not as long lasting, is the AA Energizer® Max Plus™ battery.  Again dispose of after 2 months.
