Cl Mini Lasers

The CL mini 8 is a low power laser for Acupuncture use. Where you might insert a needle you can use the laser to stimulate that point. The switch selects 15 seconds for child acupuncture or 60 seconds for adult acupuncture point.

Cl  Plus Lasers

The Cl plus 60 and 100 lasers have two modes, acupuncture and laser therapy. 

The two switch positions on the left hand dial, after turning laser on, are for laser acupuncture.
First position is for child acupuncture and the second is for adult acupuncture.  The right hand dial position is irrelevant in the acupuncture positions.   

For laser therapy, the left hand dial position selects the area to be treated in square cm. and the right hand dial selects the amount of energy per unit area.

Start treatments with  0.5 or 1.0 Joule per square cm to keep treatment times reasonable.  Treatment time is proportional to the product of area and energy per unit area.
Doubling the energy per unit area will double the treatment time. Note the 100 has faster delivery times, delivering one joule in 10 seconds compared with 17 seconds for the 60mW laser.
